February 2017

 Dear Parents,

With the beginning of February, we mark two halfway points.  Our school year is halfway over, as are the winter months.  At this point in the year I want to take a moment to remind you that SET is a strong community, where students of many faiths, ethnic and racial backgrounds act as the glue that makes the school special and a second home to all of us. It is a school where the better angels of our nature ascend.  We believe that we can make a difference in the world, one person at a time, and your children are the embodiment of what is best in our school – SET.  As we enter the second half of the year, let us continue to be a school where academic achievement and a strong sense of community are the hallmark of a loving and nurturing environment where children triumph.  Let us all be change agents in the microcosms around us. Let the better angels of nature arise!
