Dear Families of SET,

Each month the School of Education and Training has a theme and for the month of November the theme is gratitude. We have much to be grateful for in SET, but this month I would like to thank the families of our students who are an important part of the School of Education and Training family.

There are many ways that we encourage our students to express gratitude to their families.  I witness on a daily basis the loyalty, love, and selfless commitment that you have for your children.  Know that the administrative team, teachers and staff of SET remind your children often that they need to work to make you proud, work diligently in the classroom, play with a sense of sportsmanship on the athletic field and move forward with fervor to graduate and pursue a post-secondary education.  Teachers encourage students to consider the blessings in their lives and to treasure those who care for them so deeply.

During Thanksgiving, I realize that life gives us what we need and some of what we ask for. High School is filled with moments of purpose and meaning. Your children’s futures are at their fingertips and together we will give them the tools to navigate the exciting future that awaits them.  I know that by working together, we will help them accomplish great things.

As we celebrate the holiday season, I wish you and your families an abundance of good food, memorable moments to enjoy each other, and time in your busy schedules that will allow you to have some rest.  I am filled with gratitude for you and for all of the blessings which we share.

The SET uniform for 2017-2018 school year are blue and red polo shirts with the logo and khaki skirts or pants. You may purchase the blue or red polo shirts in the SET office.
