May 2017

Dear SET Family,

During the month of May, as a school we will enjoy Field Day, the Spring Concert, the SET Awards, and preparation for graduation of the Class of 2017. As the year ends, our commitment to educate and inspire our students to be responsible leaders and informed and active citizens in our community remains steadfast.

Preparing our students for a future that is difficult to fully envision requires us to be strategic, collaborative, innovative and flexible, and to focus on core values that will shape the moral fiber and integrity of our students; it is a challenge that requires SET to work closely with the families of our students.  To that end please click on the Parent Association tab and complete the attached form. I appreciate any time that you are able to give with the understanding that your days are hectic!

A summer approaches please encourage your children to read. The SET website will soon contain the summer reading list.  Studies confirm that students who read during the summer maintain or improve their reading skills.  As we approach the final weeks of school, students should be having conversations with their teachers and be making up missing assignments.  They need to diligently prepare for final exams.

As always, I remain grateful for your support of SET!
