“To everything there is a season”

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Season’s Greetings!   This has been an enormously productive autumn and early winter term for the School of Education and Training.  All SET teachers have come to know and care for your children, who are busy pursuing academic excellence, playing sports, or getting involved in community service activities. SET teachers are engaged in connecting with your children as individuals and responding to their specific needs as they adapt to high school, negotiate the perils of the teenage years and, finally, prepare to leave us to lead productive adult lives.

During the holiday season it seems appropriate to encourage students to consider the blessings in their lives as it causes me to consider mine.  I am thankful for my time with your children and for my SET family.  I am thankful for SET’s holiday traditions and for the magic of the season!

As we celebrate the holidays, I hope you have family time that is special, good food that is abundant, rest that fits into your busy schedules, and time to express gratitude for all the blessings that you have.

Warm Regards,
